Paramount Citrus Modernizes Look With New Logo And Packaging Back To Press Releases
ORLANDO, FLA. (PMA FRESH SUMMIT, BOOTH #469) - 10/25/2008 - Paramount Citrus is updating its logo and packaging to provide customers with a modern, precise representation of the citrus leader.
“Our new logo and packaging is a reflection of who we are and what we do,” said David Krause, president, Paramount Citrus. “Paramount Citrus is made up of growers who provide the highest-quality citrus in the business, and our new look echoes this.”
The new logo, which depicts a citrus bloom, is inspired by the natural elements of the citrus business – sun, trees, leaves and, most importantly, the fruit. The design was created to clearly represent Paramount Citrus’s fresh, great-tasting citrus and the trees from which the product is grown.
The updated, environmentally friendly packaging brings the brand to life. It showcases the faces of Paramount Citrus employees – growers, packinghouse workers, customer service representatives and their children – experiencing citrus, from the flavorful zing to the smile it brings. The packaging is composed of kraft paper, a 100- percent biodegradable, unbleached, natural product.
“Paramount Citrus takes the environment and sustainability very seriously and incorporates it into business practices, including our packaging,” said Krause.
New stickers, labels and bags also showcase the new logo and packaging imagery. The design incorporates the faces seen on the packaging for a consistent presentation of the brand. Rolling hills tie all of the images, language and Paramount Citrus logo together.
Meanwhile, Paramount Citrus continues to make significant investments into research and development in consumer taste profiles and unique growing practices and operations, including pulling several thousand acres and replanting new varieties if taste does not meet consumer standards. Dedication to research and development further demonstrates the company’s capacity and commitment for success in both the present and future. With the scale and resources at Paramount Citrus, the company is primed to build long-term success for its customers, including value-added product offerings like organic citrus.
Paramount Citrus is the largest integrated grower, shipper and packer of fresh citrus – Clementine mandarins, Navel oranges, Valencia oranges, lemons and other citrus varieties – in the U.S. More than 10 million cartons from more than 30,000 acres of fresh citrus from its groves are shipped annually throughout North American and the Pacific Rim, processed from its facilities in the San Joaquin Valley and Mexico.
