Orange Walnut Bread

Ingredients
zest from 1 Paramount Citrus orange
juice from 2 Paramount Citrus oranges (1/2 cup)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
8 tablespoons granulated sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons butter (½ stick), melted
2 medium eggs
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
• Preheat oven to 375°F.
• Zest an orange using a zester or a fine grater; set aside.
• Juice two oranges with a citrus reamer or juicer; set aside.
• In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
• In a medium bowl, whisk together fresh orange juice, orange zest, butter, eggs and walnuts.
• Pour the juice mixture slowly into the flour mixture and mix well.
• Pour the mixture into a lightly greased 9" x 5" loaf pan.
• Bake for 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the bread comes out clean.
• Cool for 10–15 minutes and remove from pan.
• Slice when completely cool.
